Skip the kneading! This Easy Apple Monkey Bread uses store-bought dough for a gooey, cinnamon-sugar pull-apart treat ready in under an hour.


  • 2 large apples, peeled and diced
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 can Pillsbury cinnamon roll dough
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon, additional
  • 6 tablespoons butter, melted
  • ½ cup brown sugar


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9-inch cake pan.
  2. Add apples, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, and water to a large microwave-safe bowl. Heat for 2 minutes then drain. Let cool for 5 minutes.
  3. Cut each cinnamon roll into 6 slices and add to the cooled apples. Gently toss to combine.
  4. Transfer dough to the prepared pan.
  5. Mix together the melted butter, brown sugar, and additional cinnamon in a small bowl.
