These pig shots have amazing flavour, are a lot of fun to make, even better to eat and are going to be a great hit at your next feast, tailgate or superbowl party!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 coil of your favorite sausage
  • 1 pack of thick-cut bacon, halved
  • Postal Barbecue Original Rub
  • Your choice of BBQ sauce
  • Toothpicks

For the Cream Cheese Filling (makes about 14 shots):

  • 1 block of cream cheese
  • ¾ cup shredded cheese
  • 1 diced jalapeño pepper (add more for extra spice)
  • 1 tbsp Postal Barbecue Original Rub (or to taste)

Instructions

  • Prepare your grill for indirect cooking at 275F-300F. Place the pig shots on the grill, add a piece of hardwood for smoke, and cook for 60 minutes.
